Frank Brothers Guitars

Frank Brothers Guitar Company was founded in 2014 by three brothers, Nick, Jon, and Tim Frank, out of a downtown Toronto workshop. Twin brothers Nick and Tim are the builders: luthiers who have been repairing and constructing guitars since their teenage years, and whose obsession with quality runs several generations deep. Their grandfather, Philip Frank, was a critically acclaimed concert violinist who performed with the NBC Symphony Orchestra. Their father, Jim Frank, was a Gemini Award-winning recording engineer with credits spanning Alice Cooper, Peter Gabriel, and Bob Seger. That lineage matters, because Frank Brothers guitars are built by people who grew up understanding what a truly excellent instrument sounds and feels like, not just what it looks like on a spec sheet.

The result is a line of original-design electric guitars that take classic American shapes as a starting point and push them somewhere more considered. The Arcade, Sonar, and Radar Deluxe each offer substantial custom configuration through the Frank Brothers custom shop, meaning no two guitars that come through our door are quite alike.
