Decker Amps
Decker Amps are built around a simple idea: get out of the player’s way. Every amp is designed and assembled by hand in the USA, using point-to-point wiring, finger-jointed cabinets, and layer-wound transformers, with longevity in mind from the first solder joint. The circuits are deliberately minimal, with volume, low, and high controls doing the work, and a tone stage designed to keep early harmonics, sustain, and transient detail intact whether you boost or cut.
The voicing draws on vintage American and British combos, aiming for punch, chime, and bloom. Clean tones break up gradually as you turn up, so the amp responds to your pick attack and guitar volume knob rather than a footswitch. There is plenty of headroom for drive, modulation, and delay pedals, and the tone controls work as well with humbuckers as they do with single coils.
Decker suits players who want a hand-built amp that rewards touch, stays out of the way, and does not bury the signal in features. Browse more guitar amps, see how a Decker sits next to our Two-Rock and Dr. Z amplifiers, pair it with a boutique pedal, or stop by the shop and play one.
