El Caballo has landed, and it's ready to ride! This new limited model is a "Familia Built" Castedosa - a collaboration with the extended Castedosa friends/family. Bilt Guitars handles the initial woodwork, Aurora Ybarra handwinds and assembles the pickups, and a small team in Southern California led by James Hoyt completes the frets, painting and finish work, and assembly, all overseen by Carlos. It's a way to get more Castedosa guitars at an intriguing price into the world, as normally Carlos does all the work himself (with his wife Stephanie winding pickups.)
This is the #4th prototype made for the new model, and we were lucky enough to snag it for High Voltage! A sick HSS setup with a cool late 70's look. Pine body, maple neck, rosewood board, and a vintage trem. This guitar is truly a workhorse - as versatile as they come!
